For me, Yoga is meditation in movement – a holistic therapy, and I enjoy opening the body to a flow of dynamic movement followed by deep meditation.
Yoga has always been with Radhika (Vicki) right throughout her childhood. While the family sat in chairs in the evenings, she was on the floor doing head stands and back flips and all sorts of asanas. Fascinated with the energetic workings at play with the body, mind, and emotions, Radhika began seeking more of the esoteric knowledge, leading her to a Master with whom she studied for many years.
She became a meditation teacher and esoteric body worker, further progressing into studying more of the healing arts: Holistic Massage, Masters in Reiki, Bowen Therapy and many other healing techniques, providing these services for over 25 years.
Whilst working as a therapist, the one common thread Radhika found in people’s minds, bodies and emotions, was a stagnation of energy. She wondered what else could move this energy more gracefully and easily. Radhika created her own routine for herself over the years – a combination of Yin/Yang moves: The 5 Tibetan Rites, Shiatsu, and some Yoga techniques – and so began teaching it with some great results. Of course, studying Yoga was the next step and it is whilst travelling along her path that she met Raj Pandey, with whom she has studied Kriya Yoga for 2 years.
Radhika is eager to to offer the knowledge she has gained from her certification combined with what she has learnt during her spiritual journey.
Yoga for me has bought inner peace, balance, and an acceptance of myself as I am. I hope you too can find this place within. Namaste.
